Creating a custom field for Items

  1. Click Items, then click Fields
  2. Select New field
  3. Enter the field name and type
  4. Choose to make the field appear on the form (during create / update)
  5. Choose to make the field required
  6. Click Add

Using Item Fields

Filling in custom fields for a new Item

  1. Click Items, next click New Item
  2. Fill in the required fields (basic and custom fields)
  3. Click Add (top of screen)

Updating custom fields of an existing Item

  1. Click Items and select an Item
  2. Go to the Info tab
  3. Modify one or more fields by clicking on it and typing or clearing its value
  4. The Item is automatically saved

Updating custom fields of many Items at once

  1. Click Items in the Table view
  2. Select multiple Items using the checkboxes
  3. Click Bulk actions, next click Edit items...
  4. Update the values of one or more fields
  5. Click Update to save your changes
