Contacts are individuals for whom you will be booking equipment in a Reservation or a Check-out. Some Contacts may also be linked to a User, who can also log in to CHEQROOM. They allow you to keep on top of:

  • Contact information about who checked out reserved equipment
  • Booking equipment maintenance and repair
  • If linked to a User, managing their own equipment calendar

Adding a new Contact

  1. Click Contact
  2. Click New contact
  3. Enter a Contact name and email address
  4. Fill in the fields (standard or custom fields)
  5. Click Add (top of the screen)

Important 

A Contact can't actually log in to CHEQROOM, but a User can. However, a Contact can be linked to a User.
