You can search for all kinds of data by using the text boxes spread out in the different screens, or by using the global search bar which searches across all document types.

Simple searches

All searches are case-insensitive and will match any known text field. This also includes any textual custom field you've created inside your account.

  • canon  anything containing Canon (case-insensitive)

  • Canon  anything containing Canon (case-insensitive)

  • Canon D600  anything where a text field contains both words

  • D600 Canon  anything where a text field contains both words

Advanced searches

  • "Canon D600" search for a text field with that exact combination

Operators

  • D600 AND Canon anything where a text field contains both words

  • D600 OR Canon anything where a text field contains any of the words

  • D600 Canon spaces default to having the AND-operator

NOTE: Operators should always be upper-case

  • brand:canon anything that with the word Canon in the Brand field

  • brand:canon AND flag:cleaning  anything that with the word Canon in the Brand field and that also has a Flag related to cleaning

  • flag:cleaning OR flag:inspect anything that has a Flag relating to cleaning or inspect

  • serial_number:12345 anything with the text 12345 in the Serial number field

  • your_custom_field:bla anything with the text bla in your custom field

NOTE: The syntax is as follows:

  • lower-case field name (any spaces are replaced with underscores "_")

  • followed by a colon (no spaces before or after it)

  • followed by the search term
