Sell a subscription outside European Union

1) I am a customer based outside the European Union (UK included). Do I pay the VAT? No. VAT equals to 0%

2) Is the VAT 0% specified somewhere in the invoice? → Yes. You’ll find a clear indication of the VAT at the bottom of the invoice provided by Cheqroom.

3) I am a customer based outside the European Union. Do I have to indicate my VAT number when signing a contract with Cheqroom. → No. Although for any Net payment Cheqroom will require it internally for the contract.

Sell a subscription to Belgium

1) I am a customer based in Belgium. Do I pay the VAT? → Yes. VAT in Belgium for services equals to 21%

2) I am a new Cheqroom customer. What do I do with my VAT number? → Simply submit it in Cheqroom and it will appear in your invoice. In this way, you will have no further issues in your tax declaration.

4) I am a Cheqroom customer based in Norway of Switzerland. Do I pay for the VAT? → No. These countries are not part of the intra-EU agreement. For more information, follow the European Commision guidlines.
