You can keep track of interesting states of your equipment by using Flags.

Enabling the Flags add-on

  • Click Settings in the bottom left corner of your screen
  • Click Add-ons
  • Scroll down to Flags
  • Make sure it's activated

Setting up Item Flags for your account

  • Go to your Settings in the bottom left corner of your screen
  • Click Add-ons
  • Find the Flag section, then click Settings
  • Click Add flag in the top-right corner
  • Write the name of the new flag and click Add
  • Click Actions to edit or delete a flag¬†

Using Flags

Flagging your equipment

  • Click Items, then click an Item
  • In the header, select a flag
  • Or you can also clear the flag

Finding back flagged equipment

  • Click Items
  • Click the advanced search icon to open the panel
  • Select a flag to filter the results

Flagged equipment on the Dashboard

  • Click Dashboard
  • Use the Items by flag chart
  • Click a flag to filter Items

*Important: flagging an item does not make the item unavailable for bookings or check-outs. Need to take it out of circulation during maintenance? Take the item in your custody or give it in custody of whoever is in charge of repair and the upkeep of your gear. As soon as the item is up and running again, you can release custody and the item will become available.
