Keeping your equipment neatly organized in categories makes it easier for you to track and manage your equipment inventory.


Adding an Item category

  1. Go to your Settings in the bottom left corner of your screen

  2. Next, click Categories

  3. Click Add category

  4. Enter one or more categories (one per line, using > character to indicate levels)

  5. Or pick some categories from the examples

  6. Click Add categories

Using categories

Changing the Category of a single Item

  1. Click Items, then click an Item

  2. In the header, click the Category pencil icon

  3. Pick the Category where to move the item

  4. Click Update

Moving multiple Items to another category

  1. Click Items, then make sure you're in the Table view

  2. Use the checkboxes to indicate the items to move

  3. Click Bulk actions, then click Edit items

  4. Pick the Category where to move the item

  5. Click Update

Finding back equipment by Category

  1. Click Items

  2. Click the advanced search icon to open the panel

  3. Select a category to filter the results

Equipment per category on the Dashboard

  1. Click Dashboard

  2. Use the Items by category chart

  3. Click a category to filter Items
