Go to Check-outs, next click Settings

Enabled the Require equipment to be checked/scanned option

Don't forget to hit Save when you're done

Note: Turning on this module doesn't mean check-ins or outs can no longer be done manually. Since the scanner or camera of the mobile phone might get damaged, users should still be allowed to check their items in and out.
