Hover over the system template you want to customize, click Actions, then click Clone.
Make your desired changes using the familiar WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor.
Follow the same steps as creating a new template to finalize and activate your customized system template.
Adding Extra Information
Cheqroom allows you to incorporate additional details into your templates, such as:
Company Logo: Enhance professionalism by adding your company logo. Drag and drop your logo onto the designated area within the template.
Custom Fields: If you've created custom fields for items, contacts, reservations, or check-outs, you can integrate them into your templates
Advanced Customization
Cheqroom offers the "Source" mode for users who are comfortable with HTML coding. This mode provides granular control over the template's structure, allowing you to edit the underlying HTML code directly. Here's what you can achieve with Source mode:
You can add, remove, or modify HTML elements to customize the layout and content of your PDF template completely.
For a polished look, use HTML and CSS to achieve specific formatting styles, such as font sizes, colors, and alignments.
Employ placeholders (
${placeholder}
) to dynamically insert data from your Cheqroom system into the PDF. This can include information like item details, reservation dates, contact names, and custom field values.
⚠️ While Source mode offers extensive control, it can be more complex for inexperienced coding users.
In conclusion, Cheqroom's customizable PDF templates streamline equipment management by facilitating checklists, electronic signatures, and usage agreements. You can easily generate, manage, and tailor templates to meet specific needs, ensuring consistent communication and accountability. And advanced customization with HTML coding offers further control, optimizing workflows and enhancing efficiency!
