Quite often you'll want to keep track of extra information on an equipment booking. For example, the address where the equipment should be shipped to, an event name or project number.

Creating a custom field for Reservations

  • Go to your Settings in the bottom left corner of your screen
  • Click Fields
  • Next, select Reservations
  • Click Add field
  • Select the field type you'd like to add
  • Add the name of the field
  • For important fields, choose to make it required
  • If you'd like the field to be shown as a filter option, select 'Show as filter on Reservation page'

Creating a custom field for Check-outs

  • Go to your Settings in the bottom left corner of your screen
  • Click Fields
  • Next, select Check-outs 
  • Click Add field
  • Enter a field name and select the right kind
  • For important fields, choose to make it required

Quick Tip

If you create exactly the same fields on a Reservation and a Check-out, any value that was entered in the Reservation will automatically be copied to the Check-out when you convert it.
