With the capacity restrictions, you can now manage the time when equipment can be reserved or checked out by selecting specific time intervals in your account. You’re also able to limit how many people can do this simultaneously.

How to configure capacity restrictions

To set up these restrictions (only visible to admins with the permission and account owners):

  • Click Settings

  • Click General > Booking settings

  • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save’ so whatever changes you have made to the general page will be saved in the account

As soon as the time intervals have been configured in the account any user will be able to make a reservation or a check-out by choosing time slots of 15, 30, 45 minutes, 1, or 2 hours apart.

When selecting time-based bookings under the General Settings, the time intervals drop-down list will appear. When selecting the time interval it will be configured account-wide:

The next step is to choose to limit how many times one timeslot can be booked at the same time.

With this feature, you will also be able to limit the number of people picking up or dropping off gear at the same time.

To configure this, just tick the box on the left side and choose the number of times by clicking on the up or down arrows on the right side of the number field:

This is how it will look like for a user:
