With the booking restrictions feature, you can manage the minimum or maximum duration of reservations and check-outs made in the account. This can be configured in the account settings by the account owner or any admin that has permission to do so. (For example: to prevent last-minute reservations you can limit a minimum time in advance to make a reservation)

By ticking one (or more) of the boxes on the left side as shown here, you can preset the minimum or maximum time or duration:

Only for Opening Hours

Should you choose to skip the closed days, simply tick the box in front of it. This way, when making a reservation or a checkout the closed days are skipped and not taken into consideration.

Unlocking restrictions

With the right permissions, there is also an option to unlock the restrictions that have been configured in the account. This gives the possibility to override the restrictions to book or check out equipment:

In the image shown above ☝️ , you'll see the view for an admin making a booking. Other users will see the date and time picker as shown in the following picture:

Possibilities of the booking restrictions:

  • Min. duration for reservations and check-outs: The minimum time that a user can keep the items/equipment made through a reservation or a check-out

  • Max. duration for reservations and check-outs: The maximum time that a user can keep the items/equipment made through a reservation or a check-out

  • Skip closed days: Ability to not factor/count in the closed opening days. This feature is most helpful when there are weekends or holidays in the work calendar.
